Honestly - we think you don't travel somewhere, far away from home, and then ask for the same food you eat at home. We don't do that - you don't do that. Tandem
Since more than thirty years, the family driven "Tandem" in Wolnzach is known as a great place to dine, to party and to relax with friends. You can sit around a colonial-style bar or in the lovely beer garden. Enjoy cocktails or beer with your family, friends or colleagues. You can even rent the whole "Tandem" (including the beergarden) for your convention outside your office, for private parties, or for a team-cooking-event.
Gasthaus zur Post
The Gasthaus zur Post, in the heart of Wolnzach, offers the biggest beer garden of the Markt and a restaurant full of traditional Bavarian charme. The kitchen serves typical Bavarian food combined with modern food interpretations such as burgers or mediterranean flavors. Every week, the kitchen surprises with extraordinary cooking creations. All used ingredients are local or bio-products.
Julias Cafe
Next to the marketplace is the perfect location to relax with drinks and snacks like coffee and ice or freshly made cakes. The outside area is located on the Marienplatz and enables you to obtain an excellent overview of the daily hustle of Wolnzach. The inside has some lovely prepared niches ready for you. Have a break, sit down and refuel before heading to one of our other Wolnzach attractions.
Cocktail Bar “1743”
In the Cocktail Bar “1743” a post modern sophisticated atmosphere welcomes you in one of the oldest buildings of Wolnzach. Here you can enjoy unforgettable cocktails, burgers or crispy finger food. Sit inside and listen to cool music or just relax in the special mediterranean garden in front of the bar. One thing is for sure, here you will always have at least two drinks.
Steakhaus Saray
The Saray is located in one of the oldest buildings in the center of Wolnzach. They serve amazing steaks grilled according to your order and offer a great range of meat. You can get a regular rumpsteak or a giant T-bone. A delicious selection of burgers completes the menue. A cosy beergarden in the backyard is ready for relaxe'd evenings.
Sybosion
A family driven Greek restaurant close to the market place, offering everything all the delicious dishes that greek mothers prepare for their families. Especially in the summer time, you can sit outside right on the market place between some perfectly placed olive trees. And yes, you'll get an Ouzo before/while and/or after dinner!
Ristorante Da Livio
Pizza, Pasta, Antipasti and delicious Italian food made of meat or fish is served here for you, of course in combination with fruitful, dry or Tannin enriched Italian wine. The family-runned restaurant “Da Livio” is here to seduce you with true Italian moments.
Garden of Sun
We do not have a "China Town" in Wolnzach, but for many years our Chinese “Garden of Sun”. Here you can find exotic, handmade Chinese specialties. On sunny days you can enjoy your food outside, watching the activities on the main Wolnzach street the “Preysingstraße”.
Das Heimspiel
Every Sports Club needs a place where you can have a Beer (or two) and a good filled plate of food. The "Heimspiel" is a family driven croatian restaurant that offers all that you expect from the croatian kitchen - from handmade Cevapcici to Rasnjici, Djuved, Ajvar.
